Any ball is out of bounds if it come to rest:
Outside the boundary of the course; in the clubhouse, its gardens, its car park; in any private garden; beyond the road alongside the second hole; the conservation area adjacent to Llandegfedd Reservoir; beyond the white stakes in front of and to the right of the twelfth tee while playing the eighteenth hole (while playing any other hole these stakes are immovable obstructions).

Water Hazards
All ditches, steams and ponds are water hazards whether filled with water or not.
Yellow stakes = water hazards
Red stakes = lateral water hazards

Overhead Cables
If any ball strikes any overhead cable, its supporting poles or stays, it must be replayed without penalty.

Stones in Bunkers (Rule 24)
These are movable obstructions

Integral Part of the Course (Rule 28)
All materials used as bunker walls are integral part of the course

Ground Under Repair
All stone filled (French) drains should be treated as GUR.
Note: Play is prohibited from any area designated ground under repair and relief  must be obtained under Rule 25-1

Distance Measuring Devices
A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.  If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.) the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
