On Sunday 27th May 2012, the intrepid cyclists from Woodlake Park will once again ride from Brecon to the Club to raise funds for charity.
Last year's inaugural event was a tremendous success despite being held on a day when the weather made the journey even more difficult for the 40 volunteers involved and demonstrated the strength and commitment of the members & friendsto the Judy Wood Charity Day. Almost £5000.00 was raised from the cycle ride which complemented the annual Judy Wood Charity Golf Day at Woodlake Park. Funds raised were split between St. Anne's Hospice and Velindre Hospital.
This event is open to non-members and friends, so if you wish to join the Woodlake Park cyclists in this fun, non-competitive ride to help these worthy causes, please download a sponsorship form - see link below. As an added bonus the members of the Club will once again be offering free cakes & hot drinks at the end of the 35 mile run!
